Since WordPress themes are the visual face of a site, it goes without saying that its options should be visual too. This talk covers leveraging the Customizer API as a way to provide users with a visual playground when configuring their theme.

We’ll use a case study to cover the basics and best practices of the API, and explore some of the awesome, free extensions people have made for the Customizer.
