The world is abuzz about using WordPress as an application framework. Before WordPress can be a truly great application framework, it needs to learn a few more tricks, one of which is handling dynamic user data performantly. In my talk, I will discuss WordPress’ current performance bottlenecks regarding application use cases. I will then discuss the current solutions available for this issue. Finally, I will discuss a partial page templating system that I think can help solve this issue.
